Came across a website with lots of awesome commercial typefaces (which unfortunately, is out of my budget). These are my favorites!

tumblrbot asked: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?
Call up some friends, go out for sushi or a burger. If there’s room leftover, share a dessert with them!

Looks good to me!

Props to the designer(s) of this e-campaign over at Charlotte Russe, definitely woke me up from the lulls of Monday mornings! If there was anything difficult for me to do as a graphic designer, it was the attempt to portray glitter into my designs. In the past, I have tried using noise, but even then, the results were fickle, and obviously faux in texture. This design is well done, and the message is fun and straight foward. The purple background color in the “Shop Now” is a little random for me (this color doesn’t appear anywhere else in the design, even in the disclaimer), but definitely does the job right for highlighting the “call to action”. We’re going to need more obnoxiously bright colors to welcome in the holidays!
Now if only they can bring back the original/previous Charlotte Russe logo, I personally liked it better, and to me, the cursive script really represented the target audience (classy, trendy, fun, teen/young woman). I need someone to explain to me the direction for this current logo. Yes, this logo has been around for quite awhile now, but I’m still left in the dark.

Working on a 3 step registration process for a webcam site (under wraps for now). Sadly, with the use of CSS3, the ideal look & feel doesn’t translate well across the browser board (screen shot shown in Firefox). Currently installing the fixed image upload and email confirmation function.

Stumbled upon this site while researching video embeds for HTML5… beautiful web design! Clean organization, bright catchy colors, and great use of CSS3’s functionality (especially in the navigation hovers).

Back when people had to “save up” for 10-16MB harddrives.
Looking at these prices, I have a much deeper appreciation for technology being affordable these days. And that consumers like myself don’t have much sleepless nights over our purchases.
